Terms of use
These terms are between you and Mehmet Aydemir ("we"), the maker of Tsuru. By using the app you agree to them. The app is also covered by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if the two conflict on a point, Apple's governs that point.
The game
Tsuru is a puzzle game. Every sheet is free to play, for everyone. Purchases add extras and convenience, listed below. We may change, add or retire features; we will not remove something you have bought without a fair remedy.
Subscription: String Pass
| Title | String Pass |
|---|---|
| Length and price | 1 month at $3.99, or 1 year at $24.99 (prices in your currency are shown in the App Store and may vary by country and tax) |
| Free trial | The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to the paid yearly plan. |
| What it gives | Unlimited hints, par shown before you start, the seasons' washi papers and five sends a day, for as long as the subscription is active |
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial).
- The subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the paid period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription to the same group.
One-time purchases
| Tsuru Plus | $7.99, once. The same benefits as String Pass with no subscription. Non-consumable, restorable. |
| Autumn Papers | $2.99, once. A set of washi papers. Non-consumable, restorable. |
| Ten sends | $1.99. Ten extra crane sends. Consumable: used up as you send, and not restorable once spent. |
| Special send | $0.99. One special crane send. Consumable. |
Non-consumable purchases can be restored on any device signed in to your Apple ID using Restore Purchases in the app. Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store.
Refunds
Apple processes all payments, so refunds are decided by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund purchases directly, but if something you bought did not work, write to us and we will help you get it working or support your request. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Crane sends and your content
You can write a short note and send it as a link. The note is your content and your responsibility. It is encoded in the link and we do not store, review or moderate it; the only check is the app's own client-side rules (for example a length limit and a basic filter), which are not a guarantee. Do not send anything unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexual toward minors, deceptive or that infringes anyone's rights, and do not send anything to a person who does not want it. Anyone holding the link can read it. You grant nobody any licence over your note through us, because we never receive it. We may block or disable the link receiver, or remove features, if it is misused.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer the app except as the law allows, interfere with purchases, or use the app or this site to break the law or harm others.
Ownership
The app, its art, sound and code belong to Mehmet Aydemir. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on Apple devices you own or control, as Apple's standard agreement allows.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
Tsuru is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond those the law does not let us exclude. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost progress or data, or for the content of notes people send, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are for the courts of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection or court-choice right you have where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the current version is always here, with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. Questions: mehmetredkan@gmail.com. See also the privacy policy.
